Amazing memory

Today Ah Pa brought Cayen to SEA aquarium again per Cayen's request. Today, since there's no Easter egg hunt or other distractions, his attention was all on the fishes. In fact, he spoke to them quite a bit. ”hello fish, are you hungry? What do you want to eat?.... Bla bla"

After walking for a while, both of them  sat on the floor and had small picnics at two pit stops , enjoying their snacks over a magnificent view.

He was quite taken with the fishes today and in fact asked to stay longer. He said, "here is so nice and so comfortable. I want to stay here forever. " Thereafter, he said something to the effect that He knew he would fall asleep soon but he requested not to go home so that when he woke up, he would still be amongst the fishes.

As they adjourned for lunch, they passed by this candy shop and Cayen asked him what that was. Ah Pa told him that it's the Candy Empire shop.

After they passed by the shop, Cayen suddenly remarked that "No, it's not Candy Empire, it's Candylicious."

Ah Pa: How do you know? That's such a long word. Who taught you?
Cayen: That time when we go to Vivocity, you let me choose one because I'm a good boy. (Actually that was quite many weeks ago)
Ah Pa: oh ...
Cayen: today I am a good boy , can I choose one ?
Ah Pa: no, we need to go look for lunch first and you have phlegm.

Well, Ah Pa was quite shocked that he could read the long word . Well, my guess is that he memorised the name of the candy shop more than reading the words... Though he did surprise me that day when he suddenly read the sign at the taxi stand that said "please to call for a taxi" (he didn't know "press" so he got the first word wrong).

Anyway, day ended with a yummy lunch at Putien ..where he gobbled up three bowls of the 卤面 and two bowls of fish soup. While he's a picky eater, I must say he has rather good taste.

Anyway, there's a promotion for Singapore PR at SEA aquarium now at $28. Furthermore, even without a promo, kids under 4 enter for free. So perhaps this is something you can do for your kiddos these few days.
