Short trip to Hello Kitty land , Legoland & Big Little Club

This year end, we decided to bring Cayen and my parents for a short trip to JB as we found a car charter that would take us (4 adults + 1 kid)  across in 1.5 hour at $80 one way.

Went to Hello kitty labd and Big Little Club that were all indoor amusement park in one building right besides Puteri Trader Hotel (5 min away from Legoland) and a fraction of Legoland hotel prices apparently.

Cayen totally enjoyed himself judging by how he kept on wanting to go on the Hello Kitty teapot and cups ride , make a cookie , and take the Thomas the Chu Chu train .. It was also quite funny how he chased after Badz Badz  Maru to try to touch him and danced to Barney he Dino's performance .. (For a long while, he thought he's going to watch some Bunny)

However, as the place was very small, there was nothing to do by 6pm after the park closed but to eat. And so we did.

The next day, we had initially wanted to visit only the Legoland water park but tickets was something like 110 for that or 180 for Legoland main park which was much bigger. Since we had one more day but nothing much to do, we decided to visit both sections anyway.

The water theme parks was quite interesting with many slides but everyone didn't dare or didn't want to try so I ended up being the only one to try some of the higher slides. The rest camped with Cayen in the more tolddler friendly pools, like the flowing stream , the pool with Man made waves and wade pool.

Legoland was pretty much the same as what existed one year ago but there's one more Star Wars attraction which I thought was so-so since I'm no Star Wars fan but Cayen had a ball pressing all the green blinking buttons to set some motion going.

By night, we had nothing to do so decided to try this Malaysian food cafe for some local fare. Unfortunately, most dishes were not good and Da had to pack some Chinese takeaway thereafter  to make up for the disappointing meal. Cayen had the chance to try some sushi too.

Overall, I think it's a great trip for young kids as they could really identify with the activities, rides and performances. However, there really isn't that much to do in that area and not many shops as well so suggest a 2 day 1 night stay at most. Arrive at 10am on day 1 to cover either Legoland (water and main park), day 2 to cover the indoor parks and ca depart by evening. That will be the most optimal given the lack of much food or Retail options for the time being.
