Places that you don't know exist in Singapore

Well, it's my first time going to these places. Call me suaku (mountain tortoise) but it's good to know that there's still places left to explore in Singapore.

It was again an action packed weekend. We first want to the Kranji farms to visit the Hay Dairy goat milk place, the frogs farm (dark, damp and depressing), the place where we can feed the rabbits, goats, birds and catfish place. I think Cayen had great fun as he really loves to see animals eat in general and for once, everyone is encouraging him to throw as far as he can (for instance, the pallets to the catfish). Though I am born and bred in Singapore, I have never been to those farms ever. So that was quite an experience for me as well.

It was also good that he fed those vegetables to the goats and carrots to the rabbits because I would use that to encourage him to eat his greens in the days to follow .. (🐑吃菜,小白兔吃菜,cayen 也要吃菜)

In the afternoon, we went to Donovan's first month's party. It was good to also hear good news from Xin that we are expecting another jubilee baby! 真是双喜临门 It was good as Cayen get to play with Lilia and Ava (whom Ah Pa tried to matchmake with Cayen in his drunken stupor at Cayen's 1st month party).

As we made our way home, we got news that our godson is born! Julian Ee is hatched on National Day ! That was quite a surprise as I just met Winnie and Tat the day before and was just joking if the baby will make an appearance on national day and we kind of dismissed it. So it was quite a pleasant surprise to know that he has arrived on such a meaningful day. 真是三喜临门! welcome to the world Julian !!

After visiting Julian, evening was spent watching the Ndp on TV and highlights was the fireworks that Cayen had been waiting for. Wish that some day we get to see the ndp live. This year's theme was particularly nice as there's a lot of history and reminiscence about what we went through as a country. NDP should always be like this I think, so that the younger ones will appreciate the foundation that our 建国一代 (pioneer generation) has done for us and not take for granted our comforts. Kudos to the organiser of this ndp.
