Wedding Sunday

Today is the second day in a row that Cayen is quite obedient, so much so that all of us are not quite used to it. But we figured it's better not to talk too much about it in case we jinxed it.

Anyway, since we are going for a three hour wedding lunch, I brought a sticker book to entertain him the whole time. It also helps that MBS has a lot of recycling bins which he loves so from time to time, if I find rubbish, I will pass to him to go recycle and take a short break from his seat.

Today also marks the day he had his first Coke. After he had his first sip, he pulled Ah Pa to the counter and he ordered mimicking his father's previous order, "Uncle, I want Coke please. Little bit, no ice"

From the looks of it , the love affair with Coke has officially begun.

As usual, he cheekily called 大姨婆小姨婆,and only called 小姨婆 when he was promoted to say 大姨婆.

And when the emcee announced something to the effect of wishing the couple "有一个幸福的人生..” To which Cayen promptly responded, "人生无所谓” . Those who watch channel 8 will know this is the name of the TV drama every day at 7.30pm. While he doesn't quite watch that , he somehow remembered the title quite well, and actually make this association.

Sometimes he would say  夜市人生 or  家和万事兴..whenever he see the Taiwanese drama setting. Somehow he's absorbing all these though he's just playing in the living room near the TV , and not watching . As such, be careful what you are watching on TV, the kids are silently absorbing everything.
